End of the Last Chapter

Image
Memories and knowledge will not be forgotten. It is currently the fourth quarter of the school year. As a prerequisite, I'm writing the final blog I'll ever write for this subject. This chapter of my life is about to come to an end. Being a part of the Maxwell family here at Ilocos Sur National High School has allowed me to explore many new things and acquire lessons that go beyond what can be taught in a book. To me, everything appears to be a dream. But I'm pleased that this is the case, since I know that meeting and having these people in my life, my classmates, and instructors are more rewarding than uncovering a buried treasure. They are important individuals in my life who have taught me a lot, given me memories to cherish, and times to reflect on in the future. This isn't simply a phase or an adventure that I'll forget about since I know they'll live on in my heart for the rest of my life. I usually think creatively while I'm studying, and thi...

Philippines Independence Day 2021

Image
JUNE 12 marks the day the Philippines gained independence from Spain after being under its colonial rule for four centuries. On this day every year, Filipinos — in the Philippines and beyond — commemorate and celebrate the country’s hard-won freedom. This revolutionary event was followed by the first public performance of “Lupang Hinirang” (“Chosen Land”), the Philippine National Anthem, along with the first hosting of the Philippine national flag. Filled with symbolic meaning, all of the flag's colors stand for a unique element of Philippine pride. Blue represents the peace and justice earned from Philippine leaders’ heroic sacrifice, red signifies their courage and bravery, and the white triangle symbolizes unity and equality. However, there was a time when Filipinos observed “Araw ng Kasarinlan” or “Araw ng Kalayaan” on July 4, which is the same day as American Independence Day.A refresher on Philippine history shows that the country found itself under another rule less th...

Celebrating Mother’s Day

Image
https://abc7news.com/free-ecards-mothers-day-ideas-happy-message-virtual-cards/6164061/ Mother's Day is celebrated in the Philippines on Sunday to honor mothers' unimaginable contributions to their children's lives. On Mother's Day, Filipinos will recognize their moms, mothers-in-law, and grandparents to express gratitude for the numerous things they do to keep their families safe, nurtured, and united.   Whether they work in air-conditioned offices in affluent financial districts, factories, or any other profitable job work zone, their responsibilities as moms are never completed when they leave for their different work locations the next day. Mother's Day was first observed by ancient Greeks and Romans in honor of the mother deities Rhea and Cybele, while Mothering Sunday is a contemporary allusion to the day. The event was religious in character since people used to attend their major church, also known as the mother church, on Mothering Sunday. People comm...

The people praised God for performing the miracle. The Holy Mass in honor of Santo Cristo was attended by almost all of the locals. The naturales of Vigan chose the third day of May as a day of thanksgiving for Santo Cristo, whom they refer to as "Apo Lakay." This is the Holy Cross and Santo Cristo of Sinait town's feast day. People have been gathering to the cemetery chapel named Simbaan a Bassit to hear Holy Mass and continue their devotion to Apo Lakay on Fridays and the third day of May since then. Honor, Love, and Respect Women

Women play a vital role in human progress and have a significant place in society. Women can do a lot to change society. In the early days, women worked next to men. That doesn’t mean that they are weak. On the battlefield, they treated the injured, kept up the provisions, and in specific cases even battled fearlessly. Indeed, even a few brave women, led very successful rebellions to fight for freedom. As society develops, women do not fall behind. Women had been extraordinary holy people, researchers, artists, essayists, reformers, and heads. It’s the society that tried to refuse it but women are truly honorable. Women should be given rights as men. They are not at all inferior to men. They should never be for it is not true that women are for men—to own. In fact, for most, men are the one who needs women and so vice versa. It is always a give and takes. Women are not subjects to own. They are the same as men who are human too. Men should not just always take but should as well sub...

All About 3rd Quarter

Image
https://elearningindustry.com/how-design-thinking-transforming-learning-experience-free-ebook This pandemic provides us with an opportunity to be more productive and challenging in our studies. I learned a lot through this Modular  Learning, including my tactics and how I handled my time when answering my modules. Throughout this pandemic, I learned numerous topics that I was unfamiliar with, especially those discussed in the third quarter of the subject/  Community-Based Research is the focus of the third quarter of the ICT subject. But, of course,  I am not new to research because I have completed research projects in previous grades. I was able to complete all my modules in the time allotted because of the hard work and effort I put into it. I've run into a number of issues, including difficulties in understanding the lesson and had a hard time focusing but still, I was able to overcome these struggles. Moving on, as I appreciate the value of learning,...
