LEARNING IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

 

Covid-19 pandemic has completely changed our lifestyle, and it turns out that we need to adopt new ways of living amidst this pandemic caused by the Covid-19. This pandemic has a major effect on our general public on the health of every individual. It likewise influences the system of education in most countries. Coronavirus has made a major disturbance regarding the system of education and to the quality learning of students. Additionally, the pandemic made other students not enroll this school year.

Now of time, as we face this worldwide crisis, we have to change and move our day-by-day lives to deal with the pandemic. This pandemic has totally changed what we used to do before, from face-to-face classes down to modular and online classes. Students these days are encountering gigantic effects brought about by the Covid-19. There are students that capable of changing and making new ways and strategies for them to easily manage learning through the pandemic. There are also some understudies who are struggling to adapt up to the new system of education. Asking for assistance and looking for inspiration should help. Through the pandemic, the students are not only the ones that are affected also the teachers and instructors. Probably they are worried if the students are having a hard time learning or if the students are truly learning, they are not answering just to had answers to pass but to learn new things. Since studying has gone online, some students are not giving much effort as before. Yet, without face-to-face classes, I doubt that students will learn just like before. The system right now, was flawed because we can’t ignore the possibility that the students are not cheating, sharing answers or worst someone is answering for them. It is on the student to not give to the temptation of cheating. I trust DEPED to permit face-to-face learning to the areas that have a very low chance of being affected by the Covid-19 to let students concentrate back in school.

    Because of Covid-19, it seems like the nature of the quality education of students has gone down. Burdened families make an honest effort to provide the needs of the students that they can utilize for web-based learning. All that we can do now is to have a long patience and wait for the situation to go back just like before. Quality education during the COVID-19 pandemic depends on the efforts and actions made by DEPED and every student.
