“New Year, New Me"
Almost everyone else are making their
own so called “New Year’s Resolution”, but I, myself, don’t really believe in
that. People create their resolution in New Year but as time goes by, they
forget about it. Some people are making it but they don’t really mean it. They
just made it because their friends are making it, their families, relatives. Some
of students are making their New Year’s resolution because they are required
to. So, they had no choice but to make one. I don’t believe in New Year’s
Resolution but I do believe that people can change.
“Change” a simple word yet not so easy
to do. It can be hard to do but if you are not that lazy, have the courage and
the will to change, you can do it, you can change yourself.
I sometimes fall apart too, I get
sad, and feels like I’m all alone, it’s just me and my thoughts but instead of
losing hope or giving up, I give my best and pushforward, I know that I have to
pick myself up, be motivated and move on. Yeah, I know that there are people
who care for me and wanted to help me but when nobody does, I, myself, will be
the only one there for me.
Changing doesn’t start with somebody
else, it starts with you. Change takes time and patience but if you really mean
it, you can do so. You can start improving yourself by doing things in your own
ways, the way you handle things, the way you make choice, the way you liked
something as long as you do it with someone else doesn’t get hurt. I will try
to dispatch and get rid of the bad habits I have, do good things I wasn’t used
to and improve the things I’m good at, all of this in order to develop myself
and be better.
To change is a choice still, you can
change, everyone can change. But now, I’m not letting myself to fall back, I
will continue to improve and aim for the better.
